花格子大象Elmer the Patchwork Elephant系列是英国作家David McKee最出名的系列作品，作者颇具想象力和创造力，赢得了N国小朋友们的喜欢，截至2012年，花格子大象Elmer the Patchwork Elephant系列已经有了27本书。被翻译成了40种语言，销售了500多万册！
