亲爱的小朋友们：
Winter is here and the Chinese New Year holiday is coming up.Our Winter Vacation is from Jan.21st to Feb.5th.Just a friendly reminder that the teacher’s are not allowed to accept any gifts during this time. So please do not give any gift to our teacher ,you can write thankful letter or silk banner instead.
The children will have many things to do and places to go. Ensure each child takes care of themselves and protect yourself. Keep this in mind during the holiday.
你们好！2017年寒假从1月21日开始到2月5日结束，2月6日新的学期就要开始咯，中国传统新年也即将来临，每逢佳节，总有不和谐的音符穿插其中，家长那一份份厚礼，让老师们十分为难；而事实上，不管从物质方面还是精神方面，家长也并没有由此而感到轻松………为了您的孩子在我园受到真挚的爱护和良好的教育，我们特别倡议：请不要给您孩子的老师送礼！
家长们可以通过赠送锦旗、感谢信等表达对老师辛勤付出的感激之情。请千万尊重老师的职业，维护老师的尊严，不要给老师送礼！
在这个假期里，相信小朋友一定有许多开心的事要做，想去许多的地方玩，但小朋友一定要爱护自已，保护自己。你们的生命安全和健康成长，是一件很重要的事，关系到家里每个人的平安与幸福，要求小朋友们做到以下几点：
1. Pay attention to the traffic safety, children must comply with the road rules. There will be many cars going around in winter break so please do not play or run on the road. The children are still learning the road safety rules so ensure they cross the road with an adult and they don’t walk near the road.
1、注意交通安全。小朋友要遵守交通规则，因为公路上来来往往的汽车很多，请不在马路上玩耍或奔跑，这样容易发生车祸：小朋友还没有长大，不能模仿大人在公路上骑车：走路时要靠右，横穿公路，出门坐车等要有大人陪同。
2. Stay away from danger. Children must be able to identify different dangerous areas such as streams, ponds, reservoirs and other places not near an adult. Remind children to not climb over railings, banisters, walls and ensure general personal safety. Do not play with water, fire, electricity and house hold appliances. There are many things that can hurt children inside your house so make sure they know the different dangerous appliances and places.
2、远离危险。小朋友要懂得识别危险的地带，例如小溪，池塘，水库等地方不能靠近。并且做到不爬树，不攀越楼梯扶手、走廊栏杆、围墙，确保自已的人身安全。不玩水、火、电，比如打火机、插座和电器等，因为这些东西并不是小朋友的玩具，它们是非常危险的东西，会伤害到小朋友的，如果发生了事情要先通知大人。
3. Take good care of public property, take care of the trees and flowers, don’t litter and only call the emergency numbers if you’re in an emergency (110,120,119). Be friendly to your peers, no fighting or bullying.
3、遵守社会公德。要爱护公物，爱护花草树木，不乱扔垃圾，不乱打电话(例如：110、120、119等电话更不能乱打，这样做会扰乱警察叔叔的工作。并且要与同伴友好相处，不打架，不说粗话，做个懂文明，讲礼貌的好孩子。
4. Take good care of yourself in many different places. Children often encounter strangers although not all are strangers could be bad people. Since your child is young and doesn’t know the different social norms they could be targets of bad people. Talk to your child and remind them to avoid strangers, do not open the door to strangers, don’t take candy from strangers and don’t go and help strangers. In supermarkets and other crowded places stay close to adults and ensure the children know to stay close. If children play without adult supervision take care that the children don’t play too far away from home, they should play with people they know and tell their family where they’re going and when they will be back.
4、学会保护自已。在许多的地方，小朋友经常会遇到陌生人，虽然不是每个陌生人都是坏人，但由于小朋友年龄比较小，容易成为坏人的目标，所以小朋友不要和陌生人主动搭话，不给陌生人开门，陌生人给的东西不能要，更不能和陌生人走。在超市等人多的地方要跟紧大人，防走失。在没有大人的陪同下，不能去离家太远的地方玩，小朋友要和同伴出去玩耍的时候，要先告诉家里人，还记得要准时回家。
